Hello, I’m Souad.

I’ve been a dreamer, perfectionist and chronic overthinker for as long as I can remember. As a teenager, I used to look forward to going to bed because it was time to dream and think.

Fast-forward to adulthood and some of that thinking muscle helped me serve others. I built a successful career in marketing and advertising agencies working my way up from entry-level to Managing Director in 10 years.

But, some of that thinking turned into overthinking. I couldn’t make decisions with conviction, was terrified of saying no and missing an opportunity, and continuously questioned my choices, capabilities and direction.

In my early twenties, I was offered access to my executive team’s coach, and whilst I wasn’t sure why anyone would need a coach, I couldn’t say no (per the above). And so began my journey into self-improvement.

I discovered my values (and the difference between my lived and aspired ones). I created clarity around my vision and goals. I learned the power of routine, discipline and habits. I fell in love with self-reflection. But above all, I started to learn who I was and what I wanted. I became self-aware.

I couldn’t believe more people my age weren’t investing in themselves this way, but I also saw that my introduction to personal improvement and coaching had been a rare gift and privilege that many weren’t aware of or had access to.

As an expert procrastinator and perfectionist, I thought about Lost & Found for years before it became a reality. Yet the intention has stayed consistent. Lost & Found is a newsletter and coaching practice that aims to make personal development more accessible, relevant and engaging to a younger audience. After all, in our twenties and thirties, we aren’t necessarily trying to correct the mistakes of our past, we are simply trying to make the right choices for our future.

I am an entrepreneurial self-starter, marketer, managing director, mentor, DEI champion, amateur writer, and trained life coach. But I am not an expert in your life. I won’t tell you what to think or do. I offer a personal perspective and access to things that have helped me, to help you to find you.
